TEST NAME: COLOR FASTNESS TO WASHING
METHOD: ISO 105 CO6/CO8
Suitable mechanical device with container (75 ±5mm dia, 125±10mm height, 550±50ml capacity, 45±10mm botto & 40±2 rpm frequency), steel ball (6mm), multifibre DW1/adjecent, detergent/solution (ECE-WOB), TEAD, grade 3 water, balance (0.01gm), stirrer (1000rpm),spectrophotometer, Grey scale etc.
Receiving the sample from bulk/R&D with required information
↓
Cut a specimen size of 100X40±2mm with same size multifibre & size reconfirm by measuring scale
↓
Attached by sewing along one of the shorter edge (plain sewing, face & smooth)
↓
Make a liquid solution with 4g/l ECE der. & 1g/l sodium perborate also cooled at 20°C temp use stirrer for sol. Mixxing-1000rpm, 1h & weight full composite by balance-specimen & multifibre
↓
Add required liquid solution (150/150ml for A2S/C2S) in each container & adjust temp-within ±2°C place a specimen & req. steel ball (10/25), close the container & start the program (40/60°C & 30 mins)
↓
After the program, remove the container from machine & composit specimen from container
↓
Rinse twice 1 min & separate 100ml portion of water at 40°C temp or place into the 1 ltr beaker with half filled grade 3 water & rinse 1 min with a glass rod also 10 min with tape water (full speed)
↓
Place into the glass plates & extract the excess water from composite specimen
↓
technique establish for detergent, weighing, sol mixxing, sample preparation & conduct process use stopwatch, thermometer & others suportive device in required stage for accuracy
↓
After test, dry the specimen by hunging in stitch line ( not exceeding 60°C) & stitch out
↓
Asses the color change of specimen & staining of multifibre as per grey scale -A02/A-03 under suitable illumination also use spectrophotometer & assessment musk
↓
Make a test report in mentioning method, specimen details, numerical rating of each specimen, used test no, qty of steel ball, ref/bleach, any deviation or treatment process etc.
