METHOD: ISO 3801-1977 E
Device or circular cutter (100cm2), metal plate or board (9cm2/80cm2, 1cm thikness), weighting balance (0.001 accuracy), calibrated stell ruler, flood table (4m) Etc.
Receiving the sample from bulk/R&D with required information
↓
Precondition & confirm conditioning/testing atmosphere-atleast 24 hours with ISO 139
(20±2°C Temp & 65±2% humidity)
↓
Mark 05 pcs specimen by scale (150mmX150mm) from at least 500mm/full width (3/4m)
↓
Indicate marking area (L-1, L-2, M-1, R-1, R-2)
↓
Cut 05 pcs marking specimen diagonally with sample cutter
↓
Specimen size reconfirm by measurement scale
↓
Specimen weight separately & record it (i.e 1.945)
↓
Technique establish for sample preparation, layout, weight & conduct process
↓
Result calculation & make a test report in mentioning method, date of test, mass, conditioning & specimen details, numerical rating of each specimen Etc.
Calculation: g/m2 = sample weight x 100
