TEST NAME: FABRIC STRENGHT (BURSTING)

METHOD: ISO 13938-2 : 1999

Bursting strenght tester with 50cm2/79.8mm, 100cm2/112.8mm, 10cm2/35.7mm, 7.3cm2/30.5mm diameter & safety cover, diaphram ( upto 2mm thickness), viewing cabinet, rating photo standard etc.

Receiving the sample from bulk/R&D with required information

Precondition & confirm conditioning/testing atmosphere-atleast 16 hours with ISO 139

(20±2°C Temp & 65±2% humidity)

Cut 05 specemen (length/width) size of not less than 500mm X 500mm

↓

Mark each specimen (length/width direction (L-1, L-2, M-1, R-1, R-2 or 1,2,3,4,5)

↓

Check equipment & Clean test area also place a specimen into the tester with clamp

↓

Set 50cm2/79.8mm diaphram (If necessary 100cm2/112.8mm, 10cm2/35.7mm, 7.3cm2/30.5mm)

Select the program & start the machine for 20 seconds/70mm hoght

↓

Record the figure with time

↓

After end the test, perform a single test for diapharm correction

↓

Record the figure again

↓

Technical establish for proper sampling, machine fitting & testing

↓

Calculate each specimen with corrected figure & confirm avg. result in a specific point

↓

Make a test report in mentioning method, machine type, sample description, testing & evaluatin procedure, remarks etc.
