Composition test

 Cotton & Others (blende) Fabric:

Necessary Tools:

   a.       A test specimen.

   b.      A biker and glass rod/stick.

   c.       Sulfuric acid-98%.

Process:

      1)      Cut a specimen than keep in dryer for remove humidity and then weighted it in 30Sec. Such as:           10 gm.

      2)      Make a solution [Acid: Water=7/6:3/4].Wait until cold. Than fabric keep in the solution and                handle by glass rod about in 50/60 second cotton part will be burned.

      3)      Sample will be  Washed off than dry it in dryer and measure the sample weight in 30 Second.               Such as: 8gm.

      

      Calculation :

{(Before weight-After weight) / Before weight} * 100 = Cotton %

{(10-8)/10}*100=20% Cotton.

  Lycra & Others Fabric:

Necessary Tools:

      a.       A test specimen.

      b.      A gyro wash machine.

      c.       N.N- Dimethylformamide {(CH₃)₂NC(O)H}  organic compound.

Process:

       1)      Cut a specimen than keep in dryer for remove humidity and then weighted it in 30Sec. Such as:          10 gm.

       2)      Sample keep in gyro wash pot than take N.N- Dimethylformamide.[M:L=1:20/30].

       3)      Than it will be run about 30/40Min at 95/100⁰ C Temperature.

      4)      Sample will be  Washed off than dry it in dryer and measure the sample weight in 30 Second.               Such as: 8gm.

     

      Calculation :

{(Before weight-After weight) / Before weight} * 100 = Lycra %

{(10-8)/10}*100=20% Lycra.
