TEST MANE: FABRIC TWISTING/SPIRALITY
METHOD: SAME AS D/S (IN-HOUSE) AND ISO 16322
Autometic washing machine, required dryer/drying racks, required ballast, reagents, required water(hardness 0.7 mmol/L, Pressure 150 kpa, tem 20+/-5°C). Weighting balance,ruler/templete,marker/correction pen, setsuare.Overlock sewing machine etc.
Receiving the sample from bulk/R&D with required information
↓
Cut 1/3 specimen at least 500x500mm from 1m/650mm,Single/double layer % sew 3/4 side by overlock
↓
Precondition & confirm conditioning/testing atmosphere-atleast 04 hours with ISO 139
(20±2°C Temp & 65±2% humidity)
↓
Mark the specimen by setsqaure (Full lenght)
↓
Write ashort notes with referance no & walse/course indication
↓
Weight specimen a add sufficient ballast (total 2.0±0.1 kg)
↓
Make a liquid solution with std. reagent (77%/15.4 gm ECE, 20%/4gm sodium perborate & 3%/0.6gm TEAD), after mixing 14 days validity
↓
Technique establish for solution mixxing & sample place into the washing machine
↓
Select washing program as per requirement (5A program 40°C temp) & start the program
↓
After end the program, remove the specimen with loading cloth carefully & place into dryer (40°C to 80°C but delicate fabric 60°C)/vertically in linedry racks/horizontally in perforated flat bottom rack.
↓
conditioning atleast 4 hours as per ISO 139 (20±2°C Temp & 65±2% humidity)
↓
After conditoning, make a measurment with setsquare & record it (avg. Of full lenght)
↓
Run 2nd/3rd wash sample dry same as 1st procedure also measure
↓
Result calculation within 0.5% & make a test report in mentioning method, machine type, sample description, washing, drying & assesment procedure, detergent, ballast, remark etc.
Calculation: {(SP1+SP2)/2}/Width Or Length * 100 =XXX %
2+1=3ins/2=1.5ins/40ins=0.0375 X 100 = 3.75%
